Anne-Claude Knupfer advises banks and companies worldwide on corporate and commercial transactions. She specialises in drafting and negotiating all types of complex commercial contracts, loan agreements and structured finance instruments. She also has significant experience in commercial arbitration, representing clients in high-stakes disputes and providing strategic advice on arbitration proceedings. Before moving to Switzerland, Anne-Claude Knupfer had a long career as an equity partner at Allen & Overy in London (now A&O Shearman), during which she advised on international debt and equity capital markets offerings, including offerings involving a placement in the United States and issues of convertible and exchangeable notes. Between 2002 and 2006, she was in charge of, and instrumental in, developing the international side of Allen & Overys Italian capital markets practice. In that role, she advised all leading Italian investment banks as well as many Italian corporates and Italian regional and municipal authorities in connection with international capital markets offerings.
