GHR attended the 7th Energy Event and 30th Anniversary of The Energy Law Group in Paris

The Energy Law Group (ELG) held its 7th Energy Event and celebrated its 30th anniversary on 12 and 13 May 2023 in Paris. The Event was hosted by French member firm Jeantet and was attended by over 250 energy sector professionals and experts from Europe, the Middle East, Africa and beyond.

ELG Chairman Thierry Lauriol welcomed the delegates and guests. Former U.S. ambassador Mary Burce Warlick, Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), delivered the keynote address. Presentations and workshops addressed topics such as the impact of the energy crisis on energy and mining contracts, decarbonization, climate litigation, investment arbitration and mediation, and hydrogen.

GHR Rechtsanwälte is the exclusive member of the Energy Law Group for Switzerland. Marc Grüninger and Patrizia Lorenzi attended the Event together with clients and guests of the firm.
