valfor advised the shareholders of Blockstrom AG on the sale of their shares to ista swiss ag, a subsidiary of the Germany-based real estate services provider ista SE. Founded in 2017, technology pioneer Blockstrom specialises in the digital management and billing of energy data, particularly for self-consumption associations (ZEV) and e-mobility. With this acquisition, ista expands its service offering in the field of renewable energy and provides integrated solutions for all matters related to metering, billing, and energy management from a single source. The valfor team was led by Markus Brülhart and Marc Metzger (Corporate / M&A), as well as Regina Schlup Guignard (Tax).
